In the late fall of 2019, five girls with the common bond of breast cancer were brought together.  We often would say, "we don't know what we would do without each other", and through that, we knew that we didn't want anyone with a cancer diagnosis  to have to go through it alone.  Born of that realization, and the need for a support group for young women in Aiken and surrounding counties, The Pink Dandelions was created.

     Our first meeting on January 16, 2020 was attended by just the five of us.  We talked and cried and shared our stories and really felt like God had big plans for our little idea.  Almost four years later, our support group now has over 150 women who can share their fears, lift each other up, ask questions, pray for and share our vision that "No one Fights Alone!"

     Together we have become a source of strength, encouragement, support and hope for women faced with the uncertainties of breast cancer.  Our goal is to move beyond the disease that is our common foe to higher ground, rallying one another to victory and freedom.
